“If you can’t change the circumstances, change your perspective.” -Unknown
I am a firm believer that my attitude makes a major difference every day. If I believe the day is going to be difficult, it will be a difficult day. If I choose to focus on the opportunities presented by the day, I can make any day a great day.
Every Monday, when I ask people how they feel, the responses are typically “not bad for a Monday” or “alright, considering it is Monday.” What is so bad about Monday? I guess it depends on my perspective. I can look at it as Monday means I return to work. Or I can see Monday as the beginning of something new–a new day, a new week, a new chance to begin.
Throughout the week, I hear people saying, “Is it Friday yet?” or “How long until the weekend?” What is so great about Friday? At the end of the day, we get to spend time with our loved ones. We know what to expect on the weekend.
Each day does not go as I plan. I can choose to be upset by the circumstances or I can choose to see the possibility of the moment.
Several years ago, I made a decision, no matter how I feel, when others ask, I tell them, “I am AWESOME.”
I am the one who chooses my attitude and my attitude makes a difference in how my day goes.

My Commitment – April Blog a Day Challenge
I have joined the #AprilBlogaday Challenge. The goal is to submit a blog entry every day in April. I will not promise each blog entry will be motivational, energetic, and thought-provoking. However, I will do my best to continue to reflect on my journey of learning and my areas of growth.
